My rating:
Five Stars

Synopsis: John Matthew has come a long way since he was found living among humans, his vampire nature unknown. Taken in by The Brotherhood, no one could guess what his true history was - or his true identity.

Xhex has long steeled herself against the attraction to John Matthew. Until fate intervenes and she discovers that love, like destiny, is inevitable. (SOURCE)

Another amazing tale about the Brothers. This is probably going to go on my "favorites" list, most definitely. Maybe even give Z and Bella a run for their money as my "fave Brother".

Xhex and John are beautiful together. So much in common, with their tragic pasts and sadness. I'm so glad to see them both get who they deserve. I wasn't expecting No'one to be Xhex's mother but it is quite fitting, I think. A bittersweet story, for sure.

Qhuinn and Blay break my heart more and more as the series goes on. I don't know what to think about the two of them. They are one of the reasons I loved this story so much. I definitely need more of these two and I hope things get better for them.

I can't wait to "see" everyone again in the next book. BDB is always such a good read - I never get tired of the amazing plots and the differing characters. Good stuff.
