{Book Review} Where She Went by Gayle Forman

Where She Went (If I Stay #2) by Gayle Forman
Published April 5th 2011 by Dutton Juvenile
Good Reads
It's been three years since the devastating accident . . . three years since Mia walked out of Adam's life forever.
Now living on opposite coasts, Mia is Juilliard's rising star and Adam is LA tabloid fodder, thanks to his new rock star status and celebrity girlfriend. When Adam gets stuck in New York by himself, chance brings the couple together again, for one last night. As they explore the city that has become Mia's home, Adam and Mia revisit the past and open their hearts to the future - and each other.
Told from Adam's point of view in the spare, lyrical prose that defined If I Stay, Where She Went explores the devastation of grief, the promise of new hope, and the flame of rekindled romance.

Review
5 Stars

I'm pretty sure Where She Went made my heart hurt more than If I Stay, and that's saying a lot. This being written in Adam's prospective was genius, in my opinion. It really opened up a lot of things for me...made If I Stay even more well rounded, filled my heart with love for Adam. I enjoyed that we skipped ahead in time, but didn't lose any of the plot that took place between the end of If I Stay and the start of this book. This is one of those books I don't want to say too much about because I'd never want to ruin the plot. Everyone needs to read it. Everyone!! Too be honest I may have loved it more than If I Stay because Adam pulled every single emotion out of me then put them back in place.

The writing was lovely and real and touching.
